“…library in the sub-tropics…”

The city of Townsville located in Queensland, within the sub-tropics region. Like countries in the tropical regions, Townsville is often hit by the seasonal monsoon and heat droughts. This library design, inspired by the traditional malay houses, attempts (through its design) to address the potential issues inhabitants will face due to the ever-changing weather conditions.
