Hobart Town Council has decided to convert the former Melville Street Car Park into a new student hostel building. Part of the brief was to give spatial provision to the Sunday market that takes place weekly. In view of this requirement, a mixed-use development is proposed, taking advantage of the site’s 3-points of entry from the 3 different adjacent streets.
