The Lantern is a 2-storey addition to an existing Good Class Bungalow that encompasses new ensuite bedrooms, a family area and outdoor roof terrace. This is addition creates space needed for the house to evolve into one that can accommodate 3-generation living.

The design focuses on delivering lightness in the architectural expression so that it is complimentary to the existing building.

Outset sunshading screens form an external skin that creates an air buffer from the glass fenestrations keeping the interior temperature cool.
